Do you sell fishing licenses?
- No, we do not sell fishing licenses. Be sure to purchase your license before arrival. Order license online
What are the regulations for hunting?
- Before you come on your bear hunt with us, you should familiarize yourself with regulations governing hunting and gun registration.
- We do not supply hunting forms or permits/licences. Order license online
What should I pack?
- When you’re doing your packing, there are some things we strongly recommend you pack. And some things you should leave at home.
- Keep your luggage to a minimum — there is a luggage weight limit of 50 pounds per person. The trick is to pack what you will need, and leave all the extras at home.
Things not to forget:
- Cash/Debit/Credit cards, for purchases at convenience store
- Prescription medicine
- Good quality rain gear, both pants and jacket
- Waterproof boots
- Hat, to protect against both sun and rain
- Drinking water
- Fishing licence
- Fishing rods and tackle
- Sunscreen with a high level of protection (also available at the lodge)
- Sunglasses (polarized recommended);
- Personal toiletries
- Bug repellant
- Camera
- Life jacket
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Towel and face cloth
What should I bring on the bear hunt?
- Weapon of choice in a gun case or bow case
- Ammunition
- Hunters-blaze orange hat and suit
